Final Product Presentation

Complete Western Diorama and Final Asset Board:

This is my completed Western themed diorama. I presented it on a sun-setting background, as it makes the colours used on my assets much brighter, and really sets the tone of my project. Overall, I was happy with the quality of my final production, although would ensure that the main assets within my diorama, were more visible, as there are a lot of details I spent time on, that are much harder to see from this distance. For my separate final asset, I re-invented the windmill, so that the wood textures were more visible, the lines were much cleaner, as well as individually changing the colour balances and vibrancy, so the highlights and low-lights were more noticeable.

Western Diorama Piece Close-up:

I took a close-up screenshot of my diorama, as I wanted to show the details highlighted further within this, such as the cracks in the mountains, shadows on the ground, as well as the barns wooden plank details. This diorama would work well on a large scale paper, so that it would be zoomed in, and the concept art would show the details more clearly. I was happy with my diorama, as I kept it simple, as I wanted to traditionally show a Western environment, using stylized art.

Western Windmill Piece Close-up:

Windmill

Finally, This was the clean final asset, this windmill was used within my diorama, although I had to redo it, as it was much smaller, and half of it was missing as I removed it so the windmill appeared to be behind the barn. I took a while designing the propeller styles, and deciding which perspective would work best for the windmill with my diorama, so it was important that I got these features right. Although I am happy with the general design of my windmill, adjusting the colours in the future so that the wood grains were more visible, would really highlight the 3D dimensions this was put into.
